FAQs

How can I book my bridal glam with you?

All inquiries must come through my website! I have designed a form that gives me all the general information I need about your wedding date! Please do not leave any fields empty.

What are the booking requirements for a wedding?

All Saturday bookings require the bride + 4 person minimum! Your date is not secure until the contract is signed by you and then returned by me with my signature. You will also need the accurate # of people needing services, getting ready location, and know the time to be ready by.

How far out are you booking?

I am currently booking for 2023! I will not be accepting 2024 bookings until the end of 2023. It’s first come first serve. My schedule is already filling up, so inquire ASAP if you are needing glam!

When should I schedule my trial?

2-3 months out is ideal! I will reach out to you to schedule your trial, but you can also reach out to me sooner if you want to get it done before this!

How do I prep for my trial?

Arrive to your trial like you will on your wedding day! Make sure your lashes are filled (or done if you plan on having them), groomed brows, & hair done similar to how it will be the day of. Wear WHITE. Spray tan!!! If you have a wedding during or at the end of summer, get a spray tan for your trial. Your makeup will look different if you are 3-6 shades darker the day of your wedding than you were at your trial.

Can I schedule a trial before booking you for my wedding makeup?

Trials are reserved for booked brides that have a signed contract in place. They are designed to come up with your perfect wedding day look! If you have concerns about my makeup style and want to try it out, please look at my instagram, website portfolio, or book a standard app with me. Please note that your day will not be reserved until there is a signed contract in place.

Where will the trial take place?

All appointments take place at the Hive Salon and Spa in Ellensburg, WA. I do not travel for trials! You come to me for the trial and I come to you the day of! Please remember I am based out of central Washington. Take this into consideration when booking with me if you have to travel here.

How can I prep my skin?

Establishing a great skin routine around the time you get engaged is ideal! (If not already established.) I recommend also setting up regular appointments with an aesthetician if you want your skin to be immaculate! Perfect skin wedding day tips; hydrafacials, dermaplaning, tailored facials, injectables, etc.

What will the timeline look like the day of?

8 is the maximum that I take on before recommending that I bring on another artist. Bride - 1 hour, bridesmaids/moms - 45 mins. Beauty takes time! Keep in mind that it will most likely be an early morning. Get lots of rest the night before.

How can I ensure that the day runs smoothly?

Arrive early to the location!!! Hair and makeup timelines are extremely punctual. I expect someone to be in my chair at all times so that you are not rushed/stressed when the photographer arrives. No food, drinks, or phones in the makeup chair. Those little seconds really affect time efficiency. Handout all gifts and steam dresses the night before! I require payment 7 days before the wedding so we don’t waste time scanning Venmo, counting/running to grab cash, writing checks, etc.

What do you need the day of the wedding?

Medium/large table, space to put my chair/light, and natural lighting.

Can we get ready at the bridal suite?

Depends on the time you are aloud to get into the bridal suite. If you are one of the lucky ones that has access to your venue for 24/48 hours then YES! However, some venues don’t allow access until 10am or 11am the day of! Unfortunately, I just have way too much to carry to set and up and break down multiple times. When I have agreed to switch locations in the middle of the day, the timeline has suffered. If you are set on having your touch up photos done at the venue, you are more than welcome to add this service on & we can build this into the timeline. It’s easy for me to put the essentials into a little bag & come to your bridal suite for touch up photos. :)

Other notes

Pick one look for the bridesmaids off of an MUA instagram that they all love — this way I know exactly what I'm doing going into each client. Please no Pinterest photos as they are extremely unrealistic.

If you catch yourself saying “oh we can do that tomorrow” take care of it right away!!! The goal is to be able to show up to your wedding day and relax. Have your detail box ready to go, gifts handed out, vows written, etc.

Confirm with all your vendors the week before so there are no surprises!!!
